Join Maribel and her daughters in making Tamales. This workshop will make you feel like you’re a part of the family! You will be given all the fixings and will be shown how to spread masa, add your fillings, and wrap tamales. While tamales are cooking we will make a homemade salsa in a molcajete. Once tamales are freshly steamed, we get to enjoy them! You’ll experience a Mexican Navidad with tamales, champurrado (mexican hot chocolate) & pan dulce (Mexican Sweet Bread) Your ticket includes a dozen tamales to take home that you make in class. We will make two types of tamales, Vegan Rajas and Chicken Salsa Verde. We can’t wait!
